Lester Eaton, Jr.

      Lester “Butch” Eaton Jr, 71, of Dover, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019.  He was the husband of Violet Eaton.  Born on July 14, 1947 in York, Pa, he was the son of the late Lester and Helen (Ehrhart) Eaton.  

       Lester was an avid fisherman who liked country music and western movies.  He enjoyed playing cards and drinking a cold beer and  will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  

      Lester leaves to cherish his memory, in addition to his wife, Violet,  daughter, Tammy Lohss;  son, Jason Eaton;  step son, Rick Mansberger;  step daughter, Penny Mansberger; two sisters, Nancy Wykle and Susan Stevens; and brother, Larry Eaton.  He was preceded in death by four brothers, James Ehrhart, Robert Eaton, Raymond Eaton and Thomas Eaton.

      A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 1 - 2 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc.  A Memorial Service will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ricky McCarl officiating.
