Stephanie L. (Schwartz) Armstrong, 70, entered into rest on February 26, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Ronald D. Armstrong whom she shared 31 years before his passing in 2008.
Born on February 29, 1952, in York, she was the daughter of Kenneth E. and the late Eideth M. (Oberlarder) Schwartz. Stephanie worked for Stanley Tool for 18 years. Later, retired from Assurance Wireless. She enjoyed going to Herb and Balloon Festivals and attending craft shows.
Stephanie leaves to cherish her memory, siblings, Paula H. Schwartz, Kelly E. Stauffer, Rob E. Schwartz, Joseph J. Schwartz and wife, Diana and Stacey M. Stayman; beloved dog, Ivy; step-siblings, Steve Hanna, Lori Morningstar and Edie Bradley; aunts, MaryEllen Simmons, Faye Snook and husband, Wayne, Marie Burdyck and Chris Lhadky; sister-in-law, Lesley Altice; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you goes to Beth (and Tony) Patterson who gave Stephanie excellent home care for the past year.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on March 8th, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St, York Pa. Family will be officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial will take place immediately after at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
