Shawbooi K. M. Smallwood, 40, passed away February 24, 2025. He was the husband of Ashley D. M. Smallwood. Born in York, Pa on May 11, 1984, he was the son of Serena M. N. Scott and the late Thomas R. Beattie.

Shawbooi had a passion for poetry and music. He loved spending time with his children. Above all, he valued his family the most. He will be deeply missed.
Shawbooi leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Ashley; mother, Serena; children, Shaelyann Smallwood and Shiadia Smallwood; siblings, Meeshaun Beattie and Thomas Beattie, Jr.; three nieces; eight nephews; one great niece; and two great nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2025. The visitation will be from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. The service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
