Richard Franklin Dellinger, 59 East Gay Street, Dallastown, PA, passed away on July 9, 2024. He was 92 years old. 
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis A. Dellinger, and faithful sister Anna Fauth; His sons and daughters, Phyllis Y. Dellinger, FLA, Susan Valveri, NC, Elizabeth Austin, PA, Frank Dellinger, AZ, Jane Hostetler, PA, Anthony Dellinger, PA, and James Dellinger, PA; as well as step son Todd Cunningham, MA; Also included are 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. 
Born July 21, 1932, Richard grew up in Manchester Township and graduated from Manchester High School. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran. Richard was retired from York Container Company, where he worked for 38 years. He favored classic cars, cowboy boots, western movies and the Game Show Channel. In his retirement years, Richard enjoyed several Caribbean Cruises and trips to Atlantic City with his wife and friends. But his favorite pastime was sitting in his recliner, next to the front window, content on watching the world go by. He has now been given a more comfortable seat, with an even better view and will be missed by all that knew him. 
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens 250 Chestnut Hill Rd, York, PA 17402 Monday July 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. Please meet inside the gates at 10:45 a.m. at  Family and friends are welcome to gather immediately following the burial at the American Legion Post #543, 23 E Broadway, Red Lion, PA for condolences and to celebrate Richard’s life.
