Leland Gipson, 68, entered into rest on March 22, 2021 at his home. Born on January 12, 1953 in Hickory, NC to the late Nancy (Collie) and Roy Leland Gipson, Sr. Lee was the loving companion of the late Patti Ensminger for over 40 years.

Leland leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Aleta Gipson and Sara Gipson-McDonald and husband Melvin; sons, Shane and Cory Gipson; ex wife, Cheryl Gipson; grandchildren,Jalayna Garcia, Baylee Gipson, Zaxary Gipson, Mackenzie Gipson-McDonald, and Shelby Gipson-McDonald; and a host of nieces and nephews in N.C and Kansas.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on April 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. 822 E. Market St, York.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1 p.m. to. 2 p.m. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
