Brenda Gardner, 60, passed away October 8, 2021.  She was the wife of the late William Gardner.  Born in York, Pa on March 18, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Betty (Zink) Frederick.  

     Brenda's greatest joys were her children and grandchildren.  She loved her sweets and talking on the phone with family and friends.  She enjoyed camping, swimming and baking.  Brenda also enjoyed dancing and music and could make up her own songs to any word.  She had a big heart and always gave a helping hand to everyone she knew.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

     Brenda leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Brandon Gardner and fiancé Ilena Dickson; a daughter, Myesha Gardner; two sisters, Lorna Miller and Deborah Wallick; three brothers, Terry Frederick, Barry Frederick and Billy Frederick; seven grandchildren, Kahlani Gardner, Imani Nesbit, Samiyah Nesbit, Malik Nesbit, Sanai Gardner, Ziare Gardner and JaSye Gardner; one great grandchild, Amare McGhee; best friend, Lorraine Gillespie; friend, Bonnie Carbaugh; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

     A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home Inc., 822 E. Market St, York, Pa 17403.  Pastor Micah Garnett will be officating.  A viewing will be held prior from 1:00-3:00 p.m.
