Allen L. Frey "Pap", 91, entered into rest on September 2, 2021 at his home. He was the loving husband of Stella I. (LoBianco) Frey. 

Born on November 9, 1929  in York to the late Erma P. (Hake) and Elwood L. Frey. Allen honorably served his country as a Corporal in the United States Army. He was a lifetime member at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 537 and a member at the Hawks Club. Allen was the assistant fire chief in Hellam for 14 years. 

     In addition to his wife, Stella, Allen leaves to cherish his memory, a daughter; six step-children; sister, Darlene Tyson; beloved granddaughter, Devan Duncker; great-grandchildren, Stella and Ashlynn Duncker; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Diane Mundis and Doris Winters.

     Allen will be laid to rest at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date. Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
